Monday Morning Musings
This Monday Morning it’s Groundhog Day. The movie with Bill Murray will be on FX at 6:00 Eastern.
This year the Vernal Equinox (first day of Spring) is on March 20th.
There are 46 days between now and then.
That’s 6 weeks and 4 days.
So, even if the groundhog sees his shadow there’s still 6 weeks of winter left no matter how you look at it.

Yeah, I didn’t want to be reminded, either. After Saturday’s 70-degree temps, today’s mid-30s are miserable. It’s like being teased, but without the chuckle at the end.
Look at it like we’ve reached the apex of winter and we’re rolling easily down towards spring. Flowers! Robins! The scents of dirt, fresh mown grass… They’re coming!
