Obama Open to Bailing Out Newspapers
So, President Obama is open to signing a bill that will help newspapers.
Bad idea.
We already know what happens when the government “helps” out in an industry.
I can just see it now:
“We bailed you out so now you have to abide by the rules we set.”
Bye-bye first amendment.
