Rayburn Situation

May 26, 2006 – 10:46 am by kimsch

On Fox News they were speaking to Rep. Clay Shaw (R-FL) (House Ways & Means Committee) about the situation. His office is in another building but he parks at the Rayburn. He was asked about the security in the parking area level of the building. He said:

Well, as far as I know, and I must say, I have to confess, that all of us here in the Capitol, and particularly in my office, we’re getting the information off of Fox, so when you all are reporting it we’re kind of listening to see what you know because they’re not really doing any direct communication with the various offices.

Well, I can’t believe FoxNews spent ALL DAY on
such a non-story. It must really have really
    been a slow news day.

OT, kimsch – I really like your blog. I’ve read several different posts and enjoy your quirky, thoughtful writing style. I’ll add a link to my blogroll, if you don’t mind. Thank you.
